Wordful Wednesday

For those of us who can't post a picture without keeping out mouths shut Angie host's WW.

Daddy is working hard on fixing our 'new to us' golf cart for the River
house with lots of help from his girls.

I asked the girls if they were gonna be grease monkeys like their Daddy and Addison was quick to announce "Yes and I am going to drive REALLY fast!!"

Wordful Wednesday

For those of us who can't post a picture without keeping out mouths shut Angie host's WW.

I swear I do not beat my kid.
If she ever breaks an arm some how awkwardly and I have to take her into the emergency room I am pretty sure child services will be called in to investigate.
This kid just biffs A LOT.
I don't even know when some of these injuries occurred.
The big scratch down the right leg is from rolly polly hunting up on the hill in our backyard.
The three round scrapes on her ankles are from running in flip flops and falling face down.
This crash was accompanied by hand abrasions too.
I am so not excited for summer clothes and shoes that allow for a lot more skin to be available to be damaged.

Another MoMo Reunion

The second annual SoCal MoMo reunion took place this past weekend.

For those of you who don't know what a MoMo is go here.

When I first found out I was carrying my MoMo twins the women
on the monoamniotic.org site saved my sanity.
They were amazing sources of information and support that I needed.

I don't get on there much anymore to offer the support to the newly diagnosed as I would like but I have stayed in touch with a few special MoMo mommies outside of the site.

Fortunately for me one of those women lives in SoCal and I was able to meet to her in the flesh after a 3+ year friendship over support sites, blogs and emails.

Many of my followers (mommy bloggers) will be familiar with her and will most likely be jealous of my meeting for she is just as awesome in person as she appears 'online'.

I so enjoyed meeting Angie and her boys. And they are even cuter in person then in pictures believe me. And sweet too. We had to bribe her boys and my girls to take a picture together. My girls just ran off when I asked them to stand next to Jacob and John but when Angie first asked
Jacob to take a picture with my girls he politely said "No thank you".
Love this.
Little do they know Angie & I have already planned for the four of them to marry years from now.

Jacob and Addison.
So adorable Jacob.
Charlotte and John.
All 4 monkies.
My girls and Jessica's girls.
There were 5 sets of MoMo's total.
Photobucket
Angie with her boys.
My heart melts.
John, Jacob, Charlotte & Addison.
One of the smallest of the MoMo clan lying on his Daddy's lap.
I believe this was Owen.

Happy Mother's Day

Four generations.

My grandma, my mom, me & the girls.

This was my first Mother's Day in 2006.

The girls had only been home from the hospital for 2 weeks.

This is my 3rd year celebrating Mother's Day as a mom myself.

It just keeps getting better every year.

Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow Mommies.

Wordful Wednesday

The Dentist

The girls had their first trip to the dentist last week.
They were awesome.
Seriously.
And I am not being prejudice at all.
They did everything the dental assistant asked them to do.
They opened up wide.
And the dentist informed us that they had perfect teeth.
She told them they were doing a great job brushing.
They were really proud.
And mommy was even prouder.

They let you hold the spit sucker.
A highlight for Addison.
Charlotte seriously did not take it out of her mouth.
I thought she was going to dehydrate herself.
CB's cleaning.
She picked grapety grape flavor.
Miss Addee also chose grapety grape.
She was so excited to lick her lips after wards.

Tuesday's Tribute

Tuesday's Tribute

This TT is all about my hubby aka Daddy.

He is truly an amazing Daddy.
And the girls have him wrapped around their little fingers.
The 3 of them can be found jumping on the trampoline for hours.
My legs are tired after about 15 minutes :)
They can convince him to toss them in the air doing things
only daddies muscles are capable of doing that I get dizzy just watching.
He will help them catch lady bugs and rolly pollys out in the dirt.
But he is not afraid to play princess tea party either.
We LOVE this daddy so very much.
He is perfect for my daredevil, dirt digging princesses.
