Me:No its time to put on pajama's
Charlotte: If you don't put on my dress I will not marry you or be your friend.
(This girl has gotten a wee bit sassy as of late)



Addison: I wish I had a horse like Barbie.
Me: You do?
Addison: Yes and I would let you use it,
but ooooonly when I wasn't riding her.
Me: Thanks Honey that's very sweet of you.


I feel like I am constantly laughing at the things they do and say.
I wish I could remember them all.

Sleeping in any form.

I so love when my girls fall asleep on the boat.
For starters it's just plain cute.
They get so tuckered out from all the fun in the sun.
And secondly it gives mommy and daddy time to relax on the boat without
one of our precious little girls asking for more juice, more snacks,
to go pee, to go play on the sand, you get the point.
And look how sweet she is holding on to Daddy's finger.

This week has a prompt....Motherhood.
What is means to me.

Being a mommy is a tough job, most of my readers know this.
It is messy...
from diapers to sick tummies to teaching themselves how to eat.
It is tiring...
from 1 am, 4 am and 7 am feedings to the 5th time out for the day before noon.
It is emotionally challenging...
from 5 weeks in the NICU to "Mommy I don't want you to go to work".
It is entertaining...
from first smiles to the first time they say "Mommy"
to the silly stories they come up with while doing the booty dance.
It is amazing!!!

This picture is a great representation of what motherhood means to me.

I love sitting back and watching my girls enjoy life.
Expressing the love they feel in their lives.

After all is said and done if you can look at your kids
at almost any given moment and see them happy,
you are doing your job.
Motherhood is a job.
The best job in the world in my opinion.

Moto Mama's

We went camping 2 weeks ago out in the desert.
The girls got their first taste of real power on wheels
rather than the 'power wheels' they are used to.All ready for the Rhino ride.
All packed in.

Faster daddy.

There was a huge group of us which meant lots of crazy kids running around.
There were even more than this but some people
are lucky enough to be able to put their kids to bed at a reasonable hour.
These were the rowdy kids!

Sunday morning we 'carved ' pumpkins.

So cute!
And the pumpkins aren't too shabby either.

Daddy runs behind just in case.

Addee all set for her turn.

Daddy was really out of breath ofter Addee's ride.

Most of the gang before heading out.
Next trip planned for Turkey weekend.
We can't wait!!

Weddings weddings weddings...

The second and most involved wedding for our family is officially behind us.

On Oct. 2, 2009
my sweet baby brother married the most beautiful bride.

Chauncey and some of her maids.

My new sister and I.

Her dress was so amazingly gorgeous.
It was designed to fit her body.

She looked like a princess.

A: Someone had to do the tooter butt
C: Not me
A: It was me silly (and laughs)
C: No it was me
A: No it was meeee!!


Me: Go get undressed and I will start a bath for you.
Addee: Why we took a bath yesterday?
Me: Because you are dirty.
Addee: But my booty doesn't stink today.
Me: (laughing)
Well I am glad your booty is not stinky but your feet do so get in the tub.
