Wordful Wednesday

We are in the midst of potty training the girls.

I have to admit that this is one of my least favorite milestones.

We have invested in over 45 pairs of tinker bell, my little pony and butterfly panties of which we are going thru over 20 a day between the girls.

I know that I will be insanely happy once it is over and both girls are fully potty trained but right now the light at the end of the tunnel is very dim.

One of the signs that the girls were ready to start using the big girl potties was their curiosity in big girl panties.

In the spirit of WW here are my girls in some (obviously not their) 'big girl' panties.
These particular panties were worn for quite a few hours before I was allowed to remove them.

Hope you enjoyed!

Oh yes, the road to no diapers can be very painful, but once you are there it is fabulous! Good luck mama:)

Good luck! I can't wait for my girls to want to use the potty. Trying to change their diapers is a workout because they think its fun to kick and wiggle and run away while I'm trying to change them. Oy!

How old are the girls?

I am SO right there with you! I just do not have the energy to invest in potty training two right now. I wonder if it would be easier to train one at at time?

The pix is PRICELESS! Definitely one for the high school senior yr yrbk!

It was such an amazing feeling when they were totally done with diapers. I'm sure your girls will do great. Love their "big girl" undies!!

Oh I know that agony you are experiencing. Keep the faith though, your girls will not go to kindergarten in diapers. One day this will all be behind you.

I always look forward to the Leite girls' photos. Eat them up!

Way cute! I have been dreading potty training my girls--haven't pushed it at all. They are letting me know that they're ready and I am still dreading it! I am excited for the no diapers phase though, I must admit.

That is histerical! I love it! My girls have no interest in going on the big girl potty at all. I have been told on more than one occasion that "Big Girl underware are yucky!" Good luck!

LOL! It took me awhile to realize these weren't their panties...I had to enlarge the photo to see that they were your sexies!! I thought the second photo was just a new diaper design(until it enlarged!) Very cute!

Hello! I was told that my mom went to the store and when she came back twin and I were potty trained!! I remember we use to be able to take our potty into the living room. I guess so we wouldn't miss our shows on t.v. My son peed on the potty at 15 months but won't poop until he was almost 3. It's hard but once the "get it" it's all down hill. The girls are beautiful. Twin and I always wanted twin girls. What a blessing.

Too funny!
Good luck with potty training. My son is 6 and I thought it would be nice to be past the potty training stage, but now I get to clean the bathroom a few times a week and more than once I had to search for the source of the smell.... ah ... good times!

I'm hoping my daughter will be easier than my son is right now. He refuses to even sit on the potty.
