Wordful Wednesday

Merry Christmas!

Some of you might remember me writing about my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary weekend...Well, while we were there we hired a photographer to take a pictures of each family then a picture of our entire family. They turned out really good. But then again when your family is as good looking as ours it's hard to get a bad picture. Haha... J/K. But I will say that my grandparents definitely gave us all some really good genes to work with :)

My amazing husband and I.
My gorgeous girls and their most awesome parents.
Again in all our cuteness.
My handsome brother and I.
I hope my girls have this same type of love. :)
My brother, his beautiful fiance and their little peanut (due any day now) in her belly.
My immediate family.
My entire family on my mom's side.
Grandparents, their six kids and down the line.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Black Friday

While most of you were out spending your cold hard cash on the spirit of gift giving we were spending ours on Shamu.

Since the girls had had such a great time their first trip to Sea World this summer we decided to head on back for round two.

It was a gorgeous day. The weather was beautiful. And the girls had a blast.

Sea World here we come!!
Yes we were that close. We sat in the splash zone.
Addee was in awe.Hello again.
They think they are so cool.
Lazy lady Charlee hitches a ride.Just before the 4D show which was so cool.

The Snow Day

By the end of the day we had well over a foot of snow at our house.
We had three trips out into the snow for snowball fights and snow angel making contests.
And three warming up sessions with hot cocoa.

That is the sidewalk in front of our house and the street.
That poor mound of snow in the upper right corner is our palm tree.
You can see how much snow piled up on our furniture.

The snow is still hanging around.
The grass is still well covered and the sidewalks are starting to peak out from under the snow.
The streets are pretty clear which is nice.
Driving around the valley is a beautiful sight.
We are still enjoying the beauty that Mother Nature graced us with.

Just Us Girls

The girls and I try and have a mommy and me breakfast every couple of weeks, just us girls.
We always go to Panera Bread and get Cinnamon Crunch bagels (YUMMY!!) and a fruit cup.
I am pretty sure the girls enjoy it as much as me.
They are always smiling and seem to attract even more attention than usual.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with their super silly cream cheese extended smiles.
As our breakfast was coming to an end Charlotte looks over at me and says "Mommy your my nicest mommy" and smiles the BEST smile and then lays her sweet head on my shoulder.
Can I just tell you how much this girl melts my heart?
Cuz she does.
Almost daily but every so often she catches me with one that brings tears to my eyes.
I heart my girls ridiculously.

Wordful Wednesday

Snow Day!!!

We woke up this morning to a blanket of beautiful snow covering our world.

It has been snowing since about 7 am this morning and the roads are officially covered in snow.

It is pretty rare that we get snow in our neck of the woods but every few years we get a snow day treat.

This is the first time the girls have seen snow in person.

They did know exactly what it was and what they wanted to do in it.

Making snowmen and snow angels were their top priority.

Trying to keep warm in what usually is sunny Southern California :)

Here comes Santa Claus

And my girls weren't even scared of him.
They were very excited to tell Santa they wanted a trampoline but only after they were told they would get a candy cane after wards.

They were all smiles on Santa's lap.
Everyone gathered around as the girls smiled away and cheesed it up.
Unfortunately the Santa picture people didn't manage to get a good picture of both girls smiling but it's not awful.

Christmas is almost here!!

Flying High

First off I am so bummed I missed Wordful Wednesday.
I know you all love to see what silly antics my peanuts are up to :)

Next week we will be back for sure...

This weekend we have the most beautiful weather.
Not much wind for kite flying but we made it work.
They girls had to run, and run, and run to keep their kites up in the sky but they didn't complain.
And they took a great nap after wards.
Which didn't have mommy and daddy complaining either.
