The Snow Day

By the end of the day we had well over a foot of snow at our house.
We had three trips out into the snow for snowball fights and snow angel making contests.
And three warming up sessions with hot cocoa.

That is the sidewalk in front of our house and the street.
That poor mound of snow in the upper right corner is our palm tree.
You can see how much snow piled up on our furniture.

The snow is still hanging around.
The grass is still well covered and the sidewalks are starting to peak out from under the snow.
The streets are pretty clear which is nice.
Driving around the valley is a beautiful sight.
We are still enjoying the beauty that Mother Nature graced us with.

That looks so incredible! How are you coping with all the cold weather? I would think your usual wardrobe wouldn't be up to this!!

So amazing and what an experience for the girls. We get a little too much of that but when it is a novelty I'm sure it is magical!

I wish the girls were old enough to enjoy it! So glad you guys did :)

That just looks WRONG... a pool with snow around it! Does it snow like that every year where you live? I bet the girls just loved it! My boys do. My kids are ouside playing right now in the backyard. We are expecting another 7 inches. I am excited for a white Christmas!
