Wordful Wednesday

Snow Day!!!

We woke up this morning to a blanket of beautiful snow covering our world.

It has been snowing since about 7 am this morning and the roads are officially covered in snow.

It is pretty rare that we get snow in our neck of the woods but every few years we get a snow day treat.

This is the first time the girls have seen snow in person.

They did know exactly what it was and what they wanted to do in it.

Making snowmen and snow angels were their top priority.

Trying to keep warm in what usually is sunny Southern California :)

Snow? Yes, I know all about it... Our snowbanks are taller than I am right now. I guess that's the difference between Canada and California. :) Happy snow day!

That's so crazy you got enough snow to actually play in. I am surprised (but glad) you had all the right gear to be able to enjoy it.
We have a very snow filled week ahead of us. Just in time for Christmas!:)

Great pictures! The snow is so festive. But I wish they would just plow the roads by me.

Snow! Wow, didn't know it DID that in your neck of the woods. It's snowing right now here. We've got over a foot already, so ugh. And right on the tail of that nasty ice storm! Gotta love upstate New York!
