Tuesday's Tribute

Tuesday's Tribute

This TT is all about our dog Ashes.
Ashes was or first 'baby'.
And to say that she was spoiled is just a wee bit of an understatement.
She went everywhere we went.
Slept at the foot of our bed...actually on the bed which would sometimes turn into her wriggling her way up between the hubby and I.
She could be found lounging on the couch all day with Animal Planet on in the background if we were out.

THEN...

The girls were born.
Now she wasn't completely exiled
however she did lose her place on the throne.
No more couch time.
And she was found mostly outside during the day or in our bedroom to minimize the dog hair that we never seemed to be bothered by before.
Now we had two little people crawling around eating dog hair covered toys.

BUT NOW...

'Ashy' as the girls call her has somewhat regained her place on the throne.
The girls simply adore her and she feels the same way.
She lets them hang on her, ride on, drag her all over, do her amazing tricks repeatedly with no treat in site as a reward.
She is the best dog.

I think she missed her couch lounging days even if she now has to share it with two toddlers.
We love you 'Ashy'!!

I love how Ashy is resting on the girl's behind! Our dogs have pretty much been dethroned....but the kids love them to pieces, and the dogs tolerate them!
