One Bad Word

Spoiler alert...
We have been known to use a bad word
here and there in our house.
Not often.
And usually not around the girls.
But they slip out sometimes.

As far as our girls know there are 3 bad words.
Stupid, Caca, and poo poo.
I know horrible right?
The innocence is amazing.

So imagine my shock jaw dropping to the floor,
when one of my girls used a real life hideous word.
Like a word that you would never say in front of your grandparents.

She didn't quite use it right which makes it a little less painful.
And it's not one of the phrases I have been known to use.
hint hint hubby/daddy
But nonetheless awful.

So what does any good parent do in this situation?
Ignore, ignore, ignore.
Then run to the other room and giggle a lot.
I mean seriously such a bad word coming out of
such a sweet little girl,
Even my grandma would laugh....Possibly.

Snow Day

We had the perfect amount of snow.
Enough to cover everything for a day,
still on the grass the next day and
gone by the third day.
The girls had a blast!!

Beanie all thumbs up.
Addee rolling up some snowmen.
Snow angels.
Seriously might be the best snowman ever.
The detail is just beyond, haha.
Keeping the snowman warm.
The snowman gang :)

A Trip to Pretend City

If you haven't been,
Go now!
It's so cool.
It's a completely interactive city.
For little people.

Checking her mail before
heading up the elevator to her
penthouse.
Of course Curious George lives in the building.
Sound check for her volunteer gig
at the local theater.
Addee fills up before heading off to work.
Beanie taking orders like a pro.
One spaghetti coming right up
And your total is 50 hundred bucks. LOL
(It's a bit pricey but the service is great)Posing for pics with the customers.
Quick trip to the Dr. office.
Yup it's still there.
X-rays look good.
Clean bill of health.
Beanie moonlights at the local dispatch.
Such an awesome multi-tasker.
Off to garden to relieve the stresses of the day.
A few carrots, potatoes and tomatoes
will be great with dinner.
What a haul.
And lastly a quick stop by the ATM before
a big night out on the town.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Charlotte:
Did you know that Martin Luthor King
wanted all the boys and girls to be able to go to school
together? Even if they had different hair or skin color.
He wanted everyone to be friends.

I heart my girl

Wordful Wednesday

Wordful Wednesday is like Wordless Wednesday,
only WITH words.
It’s for those of us that can’t contain the chatter,
but in a good way.The girls are fascinated with hair.
Long hair to be exact.
At first I was super excited to have the girls
playing with and brushing my hair.
Then the fighting began.
Who had more hair,
who stole whose (aka my hair) hair.
It's a serious business in their world.

For more WW head on over to Angie's Circus.

Funny Ph(F)rases Friday

Lately the girl shave been using 'big' words when they talk.
Serious and Positive are used waaaay to much,
and many times wrong. LOL

On a bike ride

Addee: My legs hurt
Me: Ok, lets stop and rest a minute
Addee: Good, cuz I was getting stressed.

In the mirror after getting their hair cut

Charlee Bean: Hello bangs. Thank you for being so stylish.

(I seriously died laughing.)
