Wordful Wednesday

We have put off potty training for a while now even though Addison has shown quite a few tells that she is ready.
There are a few reasons I haven't been excited about diaperless babies...I know some of you are shaking your head in disbelief :)
Selfishly I feel that once they are in big girl panties they will not be my babies anymore...sob sob.
And I am also not really looking forward to 20 bathroom visits on my quick in & out trips to the grocery store.
As much as I would like to save the obscene amount of money we spend on diapers times two every month I am not really in any hurry.
This may drop me down yet again in the super mommy scale but whatever.
I think I bumped up a few notches when I took the girls out after a 10 hour work day just to buy a lolli pop just because.

Either way we have introduced big girl panties into the equation. For some reason they have not grasped the concept of under garments.
We will work on that next week.
Enjoy!

We love our new Tinker Bell panties. Thanks Grandma.

Mommy I need you

Addee: I need to go potty Mommy

Me: Ok let's go.

Addee: I need you to get me a book.

Me: A book? Why?

Addee: I need to read while I poopy.

Me: Laughing all way to bookshelf and back.

Sister wanted to join in on the fun too.

All in all it's a good thing.

Pooping in the potty, good.
Reading, good.
Getting sister to wanna use the potty, good.
Win win for Mommy, good.

Wordful Wednesday

This is what happens when you send your kids on a play date with daddy's supervising.

Those are stamps covering her arms.

She did not do the stamping to herself. It was the work of a nameless friend.

Not only did she get it on the top, but underneath and the sides as well. Thankfully it washed off within 2 days :)

I can't imagine how long she sat there while this was happening.

She looks like she is in trouble, however she did not get in trouble. We actually got quite a laugh out of it.

I love all the mischief my girls can get themselves into.

Wordful Wednesday

I think someone might be...

a
little too big for the johnny jumper.
Specially if you are big enough to climb in yourself or rather halfway in yourself and then
scream for mommy to help you till after she takes your picture cuz this is such a good bloggy post.

I know, I know another mommy of the year moment.
The funny thing is that now my girls don't even whine that they must wait for mommy to take their picture.

Head over to Angies blog for more

Wordful Wednesday's.

Tag I'm It...again.

Jaime over at The Heiner Clan tagged me on this one.

Here we go
*I often prejudge a person based on their foot wear. As I talked about in a previous post I am obsessed with shoes and not only mine.

*I really, really dislike any children's apparel or toys with characters on it.
I know at some point I will have to cave on this but I can almost promise you that I will never buy Dora shoes or clothes.

*My house needs to be in order before I can relax. We never go to bed with toys laying around.

*I have a secret addiction to The Hills tv shows. Well I guess it's not so secret now.

*I have to have some type of coverage when I am sleeping. Even if it is hot I must have at least a sheet covering a part of my body.

*I have a salt tooth. Or more so I do not have a sweet tooth. I would so much rather have a pretzel than a piece of chocolate.

*I do not the Ocean, or the beach really. I don't like the fact I cannot see the creatures that are lurking beneath the surface, the salt water or the way the sand sticks to you. I am totally a lake girl.

I am not gonna tag anyone sorry.
But feel free to play along.
Enjoy!

Follow The Yellow Brick Road

We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz.

We went with a theme this year. We figured this will most likely be the last year we can get away with choosing the girls costumes. I just know next year I am going to have to give into some awful Dora the Explorer outfit times two. So since we had a Halloween party to go to with the girls we made it a family affair.

Introducing:

Mommy as Dorothy

Daddy as the Tin Man

Addison as the Scarecrow

and

Charlotte as the Cowardly Lion

Ready to go out and get some candy!!My lil' scarecrowTrick or treat. And my lil' lion.

I really wish I would have got better pictures of the entire night but that seems to be a rare occurrence these days. You get the idea.
Lots of candy was received and lots of laughs were had.

Ohhh and by the way we won the costume contest at the party.
